Related Projects: Marina Bay Harbor
The Marina is the jewel in the crown of our neighborhood and a vital and important neighbor to the 11 subdivisions, contributor to events and activities and revenue generator, taxpayer, etc. Many of our local residents keep their boats in the various docks in the Marina and the Harbor Master, Steve Orosz, is a key participant in the work the Landscaping & Lighting Maintenance District’s “Advisory Committee” is doing with the City of Richmond. While this page is “under construction” with a plan to provide extensive details about the four new projects on the drawing board, please read the Minutes of 2011-06-08 for some information about what is currently being planned.
Very briefly, the following projects are either on the drawing board or are under way now [click on each one for viewing details in depth; each link will be updated regularly, so come back for more info]:
- Dredging
- Installation of More Security Cameras
- Mega Yacht Mooring Field to help “park” large yachts during the America’s Cup 34 competition in 2013
- Wave Attenuator
