Quiet Zones

The quiet zone is now Federal law that takes effect on June 24, 2005. The law requires that the railroads blow their horns only 4 times as they cross public roadways. This new law means that the City can begin the process of applying for quiet zones in the three areas that were previously identified, including Marina Bay.
