MBNC Meeting on Wednesday, May 12, 2010

• Beat Officer’s Report: Monthly crime statistics for our neighborhood.
• Update on the City of Richmond Budget for 2010 – 2011:  Council Member Ludmyrna Lopez and members of the Richmond Finance Department will present the City of Richmond Current Budget for the Fiscal Year 2010 – 2011.  The City is anticipating a deficit of approximately $10 million dollars and is requesting community input as to possible cost saving measures and suggestions regarding operations.
• Marina Bay Bingo:  Gregory Cantrell, Executive Director and Preston “Tony” Martin, Vice President of Operations of Marina Bay Bingo will describe this new business venture occurring at the American Legion Post #875 located at 1401 Marina Way South in Marina Bay in Richmond as well as future development plans.  Additionally, the services the American Legion offers to veterans will be discussed.
